The Annual Fund

Like nearly every private Early Childhood Educational school in the United States, Joyful Noise Preschool’s annual operating expenses are not covered by tuition alone. Gifts to the Annual Fund cover nearly 9% of the school’s operating budget gap. The fund also plays a crucial role in providing Joyful Noise with the resources necessary to deliver the mission to our children.

The Annual Fund will:

• Build the school’s “checking account” (expendable monies) and preserve its “savings account” (the endowment)
• Keep tuition affordable, even as operating costs continue to rise
• Meet everyday and unforeseen operating expenses
• Keeps class size small and teacher-to-student ratios low
• Provide professional development and competitive salaries and hopefully benefits for faculty and staff
• Keep our facilities and grounds looking beautiful
• Support our financial aid program which ensures socio-economic diversity at Joyful Noise

And will  provide opportunities such as:

• Family special events
• An innovative program that encourages our children to further develop their reading and math skills
• Field trips to see science in action,  explore many other places that are often missed, or get a chance to see the behind the scene action of many local companies
• An Arts Everywhere  program that is second to none, with student works fit for any gallery
• A professional development program that allow teachers to attend conferences and workshops to stay current on best teaching practices
• Classrooms that are becoming multimedia-rich environments
